Dial M for mustard

I’m already in love with this sweet mustard top. It’s the perfect mix of comfort and style.

But here’s the deal. I mentioned in this post that I’d wanted to perfect the loose peplum top for a while. When I first saw the Marthe top, I thought I’d found it but it wasn’t to be and so I went back to the drawing board. The above top, which I self drafted, is a real winner though!

Liberty top

Liberty is by far my favourite fabric and I jump at the chance to buy some when it’s on offer or I find a new colourway on Ebay. Pattern mixing: A Vogue Anna hack

Vogue V1102 Anna hack

Although I love the By Hand London Anna dress, one thing I’m not so keen on about the pattern is the capped sleeves, which aren’t the most flattering on me. The skirt, however, definitely makes up for this and is a really nice, incredibly flattering fit.

I really enjoyed working with the Vogue V1102 pattern too and thought the two patterns might just work together, so I set about creating a Vogue Anna hack.
