It’s definitely that time of year when we get all festive, drink lashings of mulled wine and generally get into the Christmas spirit. If you’re yet to buy your gifts for others this year (24th December panic buying anyone?), then you might want some ideas of what you can buy your craft loving friends. And if you’re looking for the best sewing gifts out there, then look no further, as I’ve rounded them all up here.
Sadly I haven’t been sponsored to write this list, but you know, if you feel so inclined as to help a girl out, I’d love any of the gifts on this page. In the meantime, why not grab a cuppa and enjoy!
Liberty bias binding, £40, Alice Caroline
This beautiful Liberty print bias binding from Alice Caroline would make the perfect addition to any sewing enthusiast. Choose from one of the many classic prints or buy them all.
Cleo dungaree kit, £39, Tilly and the Buttons
This newbie sewing kit has been making the rounds lately and it’s no surprise why – it’s a stunner! If you’re after your own kit, I’d get in there quick if I were you. This kit is selling out fast.
More info here.
Mini sewing machine, £59, John Lewis
I love this little machine and it’s definitely one I want for myself (is it selfish to own two sewing machines?) and better yet, it comes in a load of bright colours, including a dusty pink and a cornflower blue.
Buy yours here.
Sewing temporary tattoos, £4, Floss & Mischief
These lovely temporary tattoos make great stocking fillers and come from embroidery brand Floss & Mischief, who are best know for their incredible embroidery kits, which you can also pick up from their website.

Part two (gifts for knitters) will be posted tomorrow. Why not come back then if your friends and family are more interested in yarn than fabric?
