Sadly today’s #12DIYsofChristmas is our last! It’s been fun finding little ways to be a bit craftier this Christmas. For this last make, I thought it would be fun to come up with a few last minute gift ideas for those family members and friends that you may have forgotten about.
There are some great last minute gift ideas on Pinterest, but I’ve always loved the idea of giving someone a present in a jar.
What you’ll need:
Dry ingredients of your choice
A jar
To make:
Scoop the ingredients into the jar, one layer at a time. I added one light ingredient, followed by a darker ingredient, which is why a cookie mixture would work well here. Chocolate chips would look really enticingĀ in the jar, as would hundreds and thousands, jelly sweets or other fancy decorations if you’re looking to fill space. Also, mixed spices or some orange zest would be great too if you want a Christmas theme. Basically any ingredients, as long as they’re dry, will work.
Once filled, decorate the jar as you wish, or leave plain and give to your loved ones.
Here are some more examples I’ve found on Pinterest. As ever, click to be taken through to the original pins and don’t forget to use the hashtag #12DIYsofChristmas to see everyone’s makes or click here to be taken to the rest of the 12 DIYs of Christmas.
